Sale of Books - Week Commencing 24th March 2025

We have many surplus books that are no longer for Renaissance Reading. We have also changed some of the class-reading novels for Year 5 and 6 and now have a surplus supply of certain books by popular authors, including David Walliams and Jeff Kinney.

We are giving pupils an opportunity to purchase these books to read for pleasure, at home. If your child would like to buy one, they will be on sale during break times in the outside classroom next week (w/c 24th March 2025) at a cost of 50p per book. There will be no limit to the number of books each child may buy, but we will be unable to give any change. Therefore, we ask that you send in the exact amount in change that you wish your child to spend.

All books for sale are in very good or excellent condition. All money raised will be used to purchase new novels for our library.

Many thanks for your support.

Happy Reading!

World Book Day

On World Book Day, the classrooms buzzed with excitement as pupils worked together to create vibrant door displays on their chosen theme. Themes were:   Year 5 - Adventure Stories Year 6 - Harry Potter Year 7 -  Roald Dahl   Year 8 - Grimm's Fairy Tales   All classes worked collaboratively to bring their visions alive. Working well as teams they carefully designed and created displays to decorate their doors. By the end of the afternoon, all doors have been transformed into a stunning celebration of literature, filled with creativity, team work and shared love for reading.   IMG 20250306 WA001920250306_151344.jpgIMG 20250306 WA001420250306 151238

National Careers Week

As part of Careers Week, Year 8 enjoyed a trip to The Worcestershire Skills Show and came home equipped with knowledge and insight into a range of career options as well as a few freebies!

They also learnt about the journey taken by a local photographer to setting up his own successful business in an assembly and national careers week was highlighted and discussed in class assemblies.
