Dear Parents/Carers,
As you will be aware there is an amber weather warning in place for this area from late afternoon today. Therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to inform you about how we will manage decisions regarding school opening should adverse weather conditions occur.
We are closely monitoring the weather forecast and will make a decision as early as possible in the morning. Our decision will always be based on the safety of everyone, including pupils and staff who are travelling to school. The decision to remain open or, if necessary, be forced to close will be made based on the weather and travel conditions at that time (early morning), even if forecasts suggest that conditions may improve later in the day.
Once a decision has been made, parents/carers will be informed promptly via email and information sent to Worcestershire County Council school closures page.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we prioritise the safety of our school community.
Yours sincerely,
