E-Safety Evening

The E-Safety evening held last week was very well received by those parents/carers who attended, with information and tips shared on how to keep our children safe online. The powerpoint, which used resources from the CEOP ThinkUKnow website (links from this website), can be found here and on the E-Safety page for any parent/carer who was unable to attend on the night. Thanks to Mr Pavlovs for his excellent delivery!

Letter from the Police regarding Safeguarding

Our school has been given the opportunity to take part in a national project, which is being run locally in partnership with Worcestershire County Council and West Mercia Police. Operation Encompass is a process whereby the police and county council will inform a member of staff if a child has experienced any domestic incident. This will be done prior to the start of the next school day. Information sharing between professional agencies allows school staff to provide emotional and practical support to pupils experiencing domestic abuse. Pupils will bring home a letter giving further details about this project.
